Business Development Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Engineer with expertise in Frequency Drives & Motors to join our dynamic team. As a Business Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and providing technical expertise in the field of frequency drives and motors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop significantly the sales.
- Reach the targets of the sales plan, defined with BU leader BENELUX, and VP sales.
- Plan and prepare a business plan showing country penetration and customer development
in line with the strategic plan and Company growth program: Industry focus, targeted
distributor and OEM development. - Using research to identify and progress new business opportunities within the target
market segments. - Track new prospects, develop relationships and facilitate the formal tender and
procurement process right through to contract signing, implementation and go live. - Develop a unique value proposition for the market sector and deliver it to key customers.
- Contribute to the design, production and effective delivery of high quality sales
presentation and proposals to prospective customers. - Ensure all appointments and proposals illustrate the company in a highly professional yet
competitive light, with the end goal of securing the prospective business at an acceptably
profitable price. - Using existing data base and own prospecting to grow sales.
- Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting tool, keep up to date the CRM and other reporting
requirements. - Plan and prepare monthly presentation for Sales Meetings, to report business to date and
forecast data. - Update the team on trends and issuesTravel will be expected to various locations and suppliers.
- Travel requirements will fluctuate in line with business needs but is not expected to exceed
once a month.
Job requirements:
- Professional qualification in Business Management.
- Experience in the Electrical / Mechanical Engineering field would be an added value.
- New business development experience.
- Technical background in Motors & Frequency Drives is desirable.
- System and application knowledge within a related industry.
- Dutch, French and English at a professional level in oral/written skills.
- Business Focus and Commitment on sales development.
